Hyvor Talk pricing in 2026

Hyvor Talk dropped its free plan on September 5, 2020. You get a 14-day trial with every feature except a custom email domain, no credit card required, then you pick a paid plan. Prices as of October 2026:

  • Personal: EUR 5/month, billed yearly at EUR 50, for 1 website, 1 moderator and 2,500 credits a month.
  • Premium: from EUR 12/month for up to 10 websites, unlimited moderators and 100,000 to 5,000,000 credits, with monthly billing.
  • Business: from EUR 40/month (250,000 credits and up) for up to 50 websites, user SSO, a custom email domain, webhooks and no Hyvor branding.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing with OIDC SSO, an SLA and dedicated Slack support.

Hyvor bills in credits, not pageviews. A comment embed load costs 1 credit, a comment count 0.5 and a Data API call 0.25, and bot traffic isn't counted. If you go over your credits two months in a row, embeds pause until next month or until you upgrade.

Note: Spam checks use credits too. You get 1,000 free checks a month per 100,000 credits; after that, Akismet checks cost 10 credits and HYVOR's FortGuard checks cost 20.

If you sell reader memberships through your own Stripe account, HYVOR takes 5% on Premium, 3% on Business and 0% on Enterprise, on top of Stripe's 1-3% fees.

Who Hyvor Talk fits

Hyvor Talk suits sites that want hosted comments with a strong privacy stance and EU hosting. HYVOR, a bootstrapped company founded in 2020 and based in Paris, runs its servers in ISO 27001 certified data centers in Frankfurt, offers a Data Processing Agreement and promises: "We never add affiliate links, tracking codes, or ads to your site." Guest commenting is on by default.

The trade-offs: your site's own SSO needs the Business plan, the WordPress plugin has 90+ active installs, and Talk is closed source for now. In December 2025, HYVOR said it "remained closed-source" and plans an AGPLv3 release "in the coming years."
