Will it work on my website?

Yes. CommentCamp launches with an official WordPress plugin and a universal embed script for any HTML or CMS-backed site. Readers can join discussions without registering separate accounts for every site they visit.

Can I turn off features like levels or Q&A?

Yes. Every feature module is optional. You can run a clean, minimal comment section or enable accepted answers, reactions, member levels, quests, and community rewards whenever you want.

How is CommentCamp free for site owners?

CommentCamp is funded by optional member Pro upgrades: cosmetic profile badges, theme customization, and eligible XP boosts across communities. Hosting, discussions, and moderation tools remain free for site owners, and visitors never face a paywall to read or comment.

Can I import my existing comments and export them later?

Yes. WordPress comment imports, full data exports, and an optional local comment mirror are part of the core roadmap. Your conversation history stays portable and completely yours.

Does member reputation carry over to other sites?

No. Community levels and standing are strictly local to your site. Optional global achievements display on a reader’s universal profile, but they carry no rank, special privileges, or moderation rights in your community.
