Mighty Networks costs $29 to $354/month billed annually plus a 0.5% to 5% transaction fee; CommentCamp's community on your own site is $0, with no fees. As of October 2026, annual billing is marketed as "2 months free": $950 a year for Launch, $2,150 for Scale and $4,250 for Growth. Paying monthly for a full year costs $420 on Explore, $1,140 on Launch and $2,580 on Scale.
What each plan includes
Every plan includes unlimited members, unlimited Spaces, no ads, free Mighty-branded iOS and Android apps and pricing in hundreds of local currencies. The tiers split on courses, integrations and capacity.
Explore
Explore costs $29/month billed annually or $35 monthly, with a 5% transaction fee. Each Space supports a single feature, admin tools and automation are limited, and there are no advanced customization options or integrations. Courses, a custom domain and automations need an upgrade.
Launch
Launch costs $79/month billed annually or $95 monthly and drops the fee to 2%. It's the first tier with courses, a custom domain, points, badges and basic leaderboards, plus 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200GB of storage and 20 livestream hours a month for up to 100 attendees.
Scale
Scale costs $179/month billed annually or $215 monthly, with a 1% fee. It adds Zapier, Kit and affiliate integrations and raises limits to 5 hosts, 15 moderators, 500GB and 30 livestream hours a month for 200 attendees.
Growth
Growth costs $354/month billed annually, with no monthly option published and a 0.5% fee. It adds advanced leaderboards, optional SSO and white-label email, with 10 hosts, 100 moderators, 1TB and 40 livestream hours a month for up to 1,000 attendees.
Transaction fees and Stripe costs
Mighty's fee is deducted from your Stripe earnings, not added at checkout: 5% on Explore, 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth. Stripe's own processing fee comes on top; Mighty says it's typically 2.5% to 5%, and Stripe's standard US card rate is 2.9% + 30 cents per charge.
When a member buys inside the Mighty iOS app, Apple takes 15% instead, and you pay no Mighty or Stripe fee on that purchase.
Note: New networks start on a 14-day free trial of Growth with no credit card, but sales during the trial carry a 5% fee instead of Growth's 0.5%.
What 100 members paying $20/month really costs
At $2,000/month in revenue, Stripe's 2.9% + 30 cents comes to $88/month on every plan:
- Explore: $35 + $100 Mighty fee + $88 Stripe = $223/month ($217 billed annually)
- Launch: $95 + $40 + $88 = $223/month ($207 billed annually)
- Scale: $215 + $20 + $88 = $323/month ($287 billed annually)
- Growth: $354 + $10 + $88 = $452/month
On monthly billing, Explore and Launch tie at $223, so Launch's courses and custom domain come free at this size. With annual billing, Launch beats Explore once revenue passes about $1,667/month, Scale matches Launch at $10,000/month and Growth matches Scale at $35,000/month.
At 500 members paying $20 ($10,000/month), monthly totals on annual billing are $969 on Explore, $719 on Launch, $719 on Scale and $844 on Growth.
Hidden costs
- Branded apps: the free apps carry Mighty's brand; your own apps need Mighty Pro, from $17,000/year
- Add-ons: if you outgrow storage, livestream hours or attendee caps, Mighty sells monthly Engagement Boost add-ons instead of forcing the next tier
- Monthly billing: a full year costs $1,140 instead of $950 on Launch, and $2,580 instead of $2,150 on Scale
- Trial downgrade: the trial runs on Growth, so picking Explore or Launch afterward drops SSO, white-label email and advanced leaderboards, and anything below Scale drops Zapier
Tip: Web purchases cost you Mighty's fee plus Stripe's, which on $20 is well under Apple's 15%. Where you can, point members to sign up in a browser and use the app afterward.
